Tuesday, October 8, 2019 6:30-9pm

Friday, October 18, 2019 1-3:30pm

Class Fee: $35 non-member, $30 member of Artists of Rubber City

Instructor: Joan Colbert

Overview:

A monotype is a painterly print from a unique surface, so called because only one image can be pulled – once transferred it is virtually impossible to replicate.

The workshop includes a brief introduction to a few traditional techniques: subtractive, additive and tracing.  Artists can then explore additional materials and combine processes and media. Because monotype methods are limitless (and a little unpredictable at times), plan for a playful session of experimentation and spontaneity.

Supplies List:

All materials and tools provided.
