The exhibition Hidden Gems: The Howard Street Collection curated by the project The Onyx Club, features a collection of historical images illuminating Black life in Akron via the lens of local photographers from the 1940s-1960s. This collection reflects on the vibrant heritage of a community still fighting for justice in the era of Jayland Walker.
