Location & Directions
Summit Artspace is located at 140 E Market St in downtown Akron.
You will find our building on the corner of Market and Summit Streets. If you are coming from 77 South, use OH-59 to Downtown and then make a right on Market St. Summit Artspace is on the right-hand side. Make a right on Summit St and then make a left into the parking lot behind the building. If you are coming from Route 8 North or South, use the Perkins exit, make a left on Summit St and the building and parking lot will be on your lefthand side as you cross Market St.
Free parking and the main entrance to the building are located off Summit Street.
Hours & Admission
Summit Artspace is free and open to the public on Fridays & Saturdays from noon to 5 p.m. and during monthly Thursday nights for Art After Hours.

Exhibitions & Galleries
Be sure to pick up your Seasonal Exhibition Booklet when you arrive at the building. This has artwork information and prices for everything on view in addition to building maps to help guide your experience. You can also view all current and past exhibitions virtually on our website at this link during or ahead of your visit.
Help keep local artwork safe and please do not touch any art on view in the building. Please note pens, markets, or any other materials that may damage artwork are not permitted in the galleries.
Resident Artists
Summit Artspace is home to 30 resident artists and arts organizations. Many of our artist studios are open during our public hours. We encourage visitors to check out resident artist studios if they are present with their doors open.
Food & Drink
Summit Artspace does not have a cafe onsite, but we encourage visitors to enjoy one of the many local restaurants downtown Akron has to offer before or after your visit. You can learn more about nearby restaurants at the Downtown Akron Partnership Eat & Drink guide.
Food and drink are not permitted in our galleries to help keep the artwork safe.
