for the High Arts Festival, Sept. 14-Oct. 6, 2018
a 23-day visual art, music, film and literary art festival
High Arts Festival, organized by the Akron Downtown Partnership, celebrates the excellence of the arts community through peer-to-peer assessment, connecting new audiences to local art and individual artists, and increasing the awareness of the vibrant artistic hub that exists in downtown Akron. The public will continue to vote for favorites in each category via a mobile app or kiosks in participating venues.

Up to 39 solo/due or group musical entries at the music festival weekend on Oct. 6 from 2-8 p.m. at Musica, Uncorked Wine Bar, Blu Jazz+ and an outdoor stage. Dates and times here: https://higharts.org/music
At the the finale reception and awards presentation on Oct. 6 from 8-10 p.m. This night a total of $32,000 will be distributed to winners that are decided by public and juried votes. Looking for closing night information? Head here.
