The Ohio Arts Council (OAC) awarded Summit Artspace an Arts Resilience Initiative grant that will be used to restore and document the mural in the building’s parking lot. Internationally-acclaimed ceramic artist and Kent State faculty member Kirk Mangus (1952–2013) and 25 Summit County teens painted the mural in 2006.
