First Impressions: The Process of Printmaking

First Impressions Exhibition shows the Printmaking Process

The Akron Area Arts Alliance and Summit Artspace Gallery opens First Impressions: The Process of Printmaking on Friday, September 27th at free opening reception for the artists from 5 pm until 8 pm. A talk by the show’s curator Dan Coffield will take place in the galleries at 5:15 pm where he will describe his concepts and ideas for the exhibition that shares the depth and diversity of printmaking processes. Daniel Coffield is an Akron-based artists and educator. In 2010 he earned his BFA degrees in painting and drawing and printmaking from The University of Akron Myers School of Art. Daniel currently is a visual arts teacher at Firestone High School in Akron Public Schools.
